I worked in an upscale restaurant that welcomes guests from various nationalities, which required me to use both French and English in daily communication. Thanks to my studies in the culinary field in French, I was able to coordinate easily with my French-speaking colleagues in the kitchen, especially during recipe preparation and work organization. In one project, I was assigned to supervise the preparation of a customized menu for a diverse tourist group. I had to communicate with the team in French to ensure the dishes were prepared to the required standard, while simultaneously providing explanations in English to the clients about the dish ingredients and addressing their dietary inquiries. The result was a successful experience that impressed the clients, earning praise for clear communication and team harmony, which helped enhance the restaurant’s reputation among international customers.
