•Responsibilities for ensures customer satisfaction through the delivery of high standard of customer service, to maximize room sales and revenue for the hotel.
•Builds an efficient team to ensure the continued improvements in staff motivation through consultation, target setting and reviews.
•Set goals and objectives with staff and develops strategies to develop them.
•Ensures all Front Office staff are aware of corporate programs impacting the Front Office and that procedures are followed.
•The Duty Manager coordinates all the activities of all departments.
•Ensures that all the norms of the hotel are respected and all the rules/procedures of operations are followed especially at PM shift.
•Takes appropriate decisions to tract emergencies.
•Responsible for selling guestrooms, meeting space and other hotel services to customer groups.
•Responsible for conducting site inspections with prospective customers, as well as soliciting and generating new business.
•Responsible for negotiating contracts, pricing, credit terms, warranties and delivery dates during the sales process.
•The focus of hotel sales is group business
