all the strategic decisions related to company purchasings and the details of all procurement process starting from defining the request for services/material up to the contract signature including negotiating suppliers, evaluating technical (partial) and commercial offers, ...etc.
Experience in all contracting stages:
•Receiving and clarifying the request from the end user,
•Preparing the bids,
•Listing the qualified bidders and write bidder list approval memo to procurement manager,
•Invitation to bid,
•Controlling the questions and clarifications raised by the contractors,
•Arranging meetings and site visits when necessary,
•Receiving commercial and technical bids and opening them with the opening committee, forwarding the technical bids to the end user for their technical evaluation,
•Studying the commercial bids for the technically qualified suppliers,
•Prepare award recommendation to the procurement manager for the most suitable contractor,
•Sign up the contracts by both parties, distribute the contract
•Follow up the delivery of the service,
•Check the service performance with the end user,
•Approve and issue the completion certificate, or release letter
Assist Borouge in obtaining ISO9001 Certificate, maintain the certificate, participate in internal and external audits, follow up the closing of all Corrective Actions raised, act as quality coordinator between all divisions in Abu Dhabi and Ruwais to ensure the best implementation of quality aspects, monitor documentaion system, build up and look after “Borouge Documents Search System”, and other related quality issues.
- Attend and contribute in technical meetings such as HAZOP meetings
- Using process engineering simulation software’s like: HYSYS and PIPESIM.
