Steeles West Subway Station, Yonge - Spadina Subway Extension, Toronto, ($165M, ) Deputy Project Manager
• Steeles West is the largest and most challenging of six stations along the Spadina subway extension. Includes the main underground subway station, cross overs and above ground entrances and bus stations and access road. It has three major stakeholders, York region, York University and Toronto Transit Commission.
• Chaired coordination meetings between various consultants to resolve design and construction problems.
• Managed the design team for the underground subway station. The design was done to the requirements of the Toronto Transit Commission Design Manual, the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Manual, and the Ontario Building Code.
• Produced budget charts and invoice logs to monitor/report financial information for both stations.
• Defined procedures, processes, and communications, to ensure on time project delivery.
• Issued addenda to design as required by the main client TTC
