* Provide support of the Payroll System, which is a module in the Oracle eBusiness Suite, to around 100 users working across 32 government departments in Dubai.
* To achieve that, I manage a team of 4 ERP Specialists to support, train and program the system as per the users' business requirements.
* Part of the Nationalization program in my Department.
* Contribute in hiring and supervising the growth of 3 UAE Nationals
* Am part of the system Design Committee which takes decisions in the system's design in terms of cost and benefit.
* Achieved the departments business weekly and monthly objectives of maintaining the number of support calls (incidents) received every week to equal the number of calls closed.
* Ability to solve problems and manage crises that occur every now and then, such as slowness of Payroll process, support calls that take a very long time without much progress.
* Designed and supervised the implementation of the Oracle Time and Labor system in 7 Government Departments such as Dubai Municipality and Dubai Police.
* In charge of the design and maintenance a variety of Dubai Government Laws all in one system, and assuring that the standardization and unification of business processes is still maintained. Laws such as HRMS Law no. 27 for 2006, and Dubai Airports Law, and the Military Law.
* In 2012 was part of the major project of upgrading the ERP eBusiness Suite from version 11 to 12 and assuring that all customizations were migrated smoothly without issues and errors.

* Updating / modifying the system to cater for client's needs using the PL/SQL Language.
* Gather client's requirements and coordinate with Reports Development Team. Responsible for testing and checking the reports' integrity.
* Responsible for the Payroll Data of over 60, 000 employees who receive their salaries from the Payroll system.
* Responsible for providing the timely support required to pay the salaries on time very single month.
* Responsible of keeping the customer satisfied even in the toughest times such as when the system is down, or the Payroll Run performance is poor.
* Provide training for beginner and advanced users on the Payroll, Time and Labor System and Oracle Discoverer.
* Provided break through solution required for the accurate auditing of Payroll Run Results "GRP Payroll Differences Report" used and relied on by most Government Departments.

* Was part of the team that developed and implemented the Payroll system (a module in the Oracle eBusiness Suite) as per instructions of H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid AlMaktoom.
* The project started in 2002. I was part of the business requirement gathering which was done across 7 key government departments such as Dubai Municipality and Dubai Health Authority.
* The business requirement gathering phase also included standardizing the various business process across all government departments in order to produce a system with as much unified business processes as possible in order to cut on cost of maintenance and support.
* Was part of the team of the first implementation of the system to go live in any government department and that was Department of Economic Development. The payroll was paid on time (June 2003)
* Implemented the Payroll system in the Ruler's Court of Dubai one month earlier to the planned Go-Live date.
* Took over the implementation of the Payroll system in Dubai Health Authority after the project was delayed by six months due to poor resources and went live on time of the new planned Go-Live date given that Dubai Health Authority environment was very complex and demanding.
* Implemented the Payroll system in Department of Finance, RTA, Center of Ambulance Services.
* Provided many trainings to Payroll users across the government.
* Performed various major, critical and complex problem solving tasks such as correcting the Annual Leave Balances for the 8, 000 staff working for Dubai Health Authority
