Internal Medicine Registrar, Duties are:
Attend at least 1 duty per week as oncall registrar in the department of internal medicine.
Maintain a high standard of communication with patients, their families and staff.
Direct supervision of house officers and medical officers in the unit.
Present the cases in the handover, attend team and departmental meetings as required.
present cases, deaths and admissions in the clinical rounds and the morning meetings.
Obtain a consent for Diagnostic procedures and perform them.
Attend and present the academic activities including the seminars and the weekly tutorials.
Maintain high standards documentation including the OPD visits, admission letters, dicharge letters and referral letters.
Medical Officer in Cardiomedicine(ER 3months, INR clinic 1month, Ward 2 months, HDU 1.5 year), duties are:
Work as medical officer, assess the patients, and do the post operative visits under the supervision of the consultant cardiologist.
Attend at least 15 duties per month in the HDU and work closely with consultant cardiologist, cardiac surgeon and anesthesiologist in assessment and management of patients in the HDU, maintain high degree of communication with patients, their families and staff.
Maintain high level of documentations, prepare the admission letters, discharge letters via the hospital Data base system, and insert patient's anticoagulation informations in the PARMA system.
Perform session of counseling about compliance to treatmnet and Oral anticoagulation therapy to the patients and their families (at least once per month).
General Practitioner in Student Welfare Health Unit (Khartoum, Sudan):
Assess the patients, treatment and follow up according to the case.
Referral of the patients when indicated.
Prepare the monthly report of the cases assessed in the clinic and the list of emergency medications needed in the unit's pharmacy.
Medical Officer at the Department of Cardiology, Attend at least 5 duties in the Emergency room under the supervision o Registrars and the consultant cardiologist, maintain high standards of communication between patients, their families and the staff, attend the morning meeting and other teaching activities.
