My Role as a CEO for the Holding company and its subsidiaries, I used to:
· Evaluate each company, make sure the CEOs of each Prime is following the Group Bylaws, budgets, timelines, goals, and achievements.
· Prepare reports for the Shareholders, prepare presentations, and answer all shareholder questions in the Board of Directors meetings.
· Make sure the Group has a healthy cash flow.
· Deal with financial institutes to provide suitable findings if needed.
Prime Lighting was a new company, and part of Prime Group. At the beginning there were no enough resources, so I had to do many things by my own, then Prime Lighting achieved a lot of growth during a very short time and became one of the biggest lighting companies in Saudi Arabia. Some of my responsibilities were:
· Report to Prime Group CEO
· Build Pipeline and follow up on the sales team
· Built the accounting system
· Wrote the profile and built the website
· Procedures and Policies
· Look for leads
· Asset management
· Build excellent business relations with the stakeholders.

My responsibilities were:
To computerize the accounting system (to change it from manual to a computer-based system)
To search and buy the appropriate accounting software which is the most suitable for the work.
To data enter, all the accounting year, transactions in to the software till the date I left.
To build the paper flow and the accounting procedures for the company.
To automate some custom reports, that needed to be generated automatically every period to the CEO directly.
To help in building, and hiring, a female accounting and secretarial department within the company.
To train the new accountants on the software (which was Quickbooks premiere accountant edition, and on the company’s accounting procedures.
RAA is an accounting company that was established in 1997 we managed to have many clients within a very short time, the variety of clients RAA have has enabled me to gain the knowledge and experience in diverse fields of the local market such as government departments, trade, media, Information Technology, Nonprofit organizations, Factories, ...
My duties included:
Accounting
Internal Auditing
Internal Control Over Safeguarding Fixed Assets
On Accounting Departments:
o Review the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information and the means used to identify measure, classify, and report such information.
o Appraise the economy and efficiency with which resources are employed in.
o Review the financial system established to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Other Tasks:
o Co-operation with the external auditors.
o Evaluate the existing processes and suggest recommendations, or new processes, if needed.
o To ensure that the company complies with the country’s legal and regulatory rules.
o Surveys of employees, to ensure the good working climate and to know if there were problems that are not noticed from the management and needs to be reported and solved.
o Surveys of suppliers, and customers (collecting feedbacks).
o To monitor the efficiency of the company’s resources.
o Sometimes (rarely), we used to send a mystery shopper, especially when we doubt a theft behavior, or problems in dealing with direct customers from some employees.
o Consulting for Jordan laws and regulations: Jordan Sales tax, Labor law, Social Security law, Income tax, Investment law
o Conducting training courses and seminars for accountants and non-accountants
Administration and Management:
o Organizing the Staff Schedules and the onsite visits
o Evaluating the staff
o Research, studies, and development
o Collecting Clients Feedbacks.
