My thesis was published: Henkel A.W., Alali H., (2014). Antagonistic interactions between dexamethasone and fluoxetine modulate morphodynamics and expression of cytokines in astrocytes. Neuroscience. 280, pp.318-327. Participated in the 18th Health Science (HSC) poster conference in Kuwait University. Poster was also presented in San Francisco at the 68th Society of Biological Psychiatry Annual Meeting 16 - 18 May 2013 Did many seminars during my four years at Kuwait university, physiology department
• Received a scholarship from the Ministry of higher education to study in Canada (2003) • Received an English learning certificate from Saint Mary's University, Canada, finishing all the 6 levels of the ESL program (2003-2004). • Received a certificate of excellence in the fourth Year of University and was listed in the deans list of outstanding students (2008).
