Ensuring that the manuscripts accepted for publication meet the established standards and that they have gone through efficient peer-review process.
Checking the appropriateness of the manuscript as well as the author’s history to ensure that the manuscript falls within the journal’s scope and is not plagiarized.
Accountabilities:
• Check the subject appropriateness of the manuscript to make sure that it falls within the scope of the journal
• Check the manuscript type to make sure that the manuscript is submitted to the journal with the right type
• Perform some searches to make sure that the manuscript has neither been published elsewhere, nor is under review elsewhere
• Check submitted manuscripts to ensure that they have not been plagiarized from other manuscripts, whether published or unpublished
• Check the manuscript references to detect any potential citation manipulation i.e. whether the purpose of them is to increase the number of citations to a given author’s work, or to articles published in a particular journal
• Check authors’ history to make sure that there are no sanctions preventing them from submitting their manuscripts to the journal
• Take the proper action with the checked manuscripts whether by approving, rejecting or transferring the manuscript
• Communicate all decisions with editorial staff in order to take the proper action with the authors/editors
Searching on our Data Analytic System (DAS) and Manuscript Tracking System (MTS) to suggest potential editors and reviewers
Accountabilities
• Receive manuscripts from the Manuscript Tracking System (MTS) in order to get them reviewed and edited before publishing
• Download the XML file, and search by the organization tools for authors’ ID, affiliations ID, and domains to fill in the authors’ data
• Upload the XML file to reviewers and editors finder organization tools to generate lists of suggested editors and reviewers
• Search for the references’ Electronic IDs (EIDs) on the organization’s reference program
• Contact the In-house Screening Specialists and/or Editorial Assistants in case of any corruption or challenge found regarding the author’s IDs to clear any disputes
Call Customers who didn't pay their credits till the obligation payment due date.
Following up with customers until they pay the required amount.
