-Develop and contextualize protection related tools to be used in protection activities.
-Streamlining protection standards and guidance to all projects and teams
-Ensure protection mainstreaming throughout project implementation.
-Train and coach staff to build technical capacity in relation to protection and legal.
-Ensure quality implementation in a timely manner in accordance to the protection strategy and Protection Working Group guidelines.

-Represent and develop internal standards to maintain effective working relationship with stakeholders including partner agencies and service providers in the target areas.
-Proactively participate in protection and relevant INTERSOS coordination meeting as well as national working groups.
-Promote community-based implementation and community empowerment through protection interventions
-Structure and monitor activities including: case management, PSS, community-based activities, outreach and mobilization, legal assistance, MHPSS, protection monitoring, collective shelter, and other protection activities.
-Providing coaching and mentoring to component officers to ensure protection mainstreaming and unified approach.
-Representing INTERSOS during international mission visits and donor visits as well as being part of interviews and media / videos.
-Developing protection SOPs and guidelines to be streamlined in accordance to protection and humanitarian international guidelines
- Monthly reporting including case management reports, external reports to UNHCR (Activity Info), MHPSS Mental Health reporting, PAT, ECA Tracking sheet and RAIS uploads.
-Composition and finalizing of PAT. (internal reporting structure)
- Maintain and review databases.
-Coordinate with Protection Manager, Project Manager, and Protection Officers to ensure accurate and effective reporting tools and tracking. -Support in needs assessments and service mapping.
-Create reporting tools.
-Develop quantitative and qualitative monitoring tools.
-Process and analyze internal and external reports as per operational needs.
-Develop and apply M&E tools for implemented projects.
-Follow up and analyze complaints and concerns from the target population by reinforcing and creating complaint mechanisms.
-Conduct regular monitoring visits and field visits as well as trainings and awareness.
-Support in need assessments and analysis for project and for project proposals.
-Assessing referrals according to SOPs and eligibility criteria.
- Coordinating with UNHCR and other NGOs to ensure stability and security at the shelters.
-Ensuring the safe arrival and exit of all protection cases (including PwSN and S/GBV).
-Managing each individual resident file by ensuring proper follow up by case management, access to necessities, coordination with all actors involved in each resident file, and daily updates especially in emergencies.
-Coordination and support to Logistics for maintenance and procurement.
-Tracking of inventory to ensure all materials (non-food items) are available at the shelter.
-Budgeting and budget forecasting.
-Organizing meetings and case conferences to share updates with all parties involved in the case.
-Identifying, assessing, counselling, following up, referring, building an action plan, and closing protection case files for vulnerable persons including PwSN, S/GBV, and CP cases.
-Managing a team of two case workers and ensuring the efficient and effective case management process is done.
-PCAP and Reassessment Focal Point responsible for collecting, tracking, checking, and distributing PCAP and Reassessment assessments done by case management.
-Tracking progress and results as well as coordinating and updating UNHCR.
-Detect, counsel, and follow up with individual cases identified through INTERSOS activities or activities of other agencies.
-Conducting psychosocial support and studying the environmental, social, behavioral, emotional, and personal for each individual and their well-being.
-Creating trustful and strong relationships with the refugee population.
-Conduct home visits when necessary and building trust in order for the child to give consent for case management.
-Ensure coordination within the team internally and with external agencies through referrals.
-Manage, fill, and file case profiles through the necessary forms.
-Ensure emergency cash for the most vulnerable cases in accordance with internal procedures for cash assistance.
-Ensure data protection and privacy of the case information as well as ensuring privacy, trust, and emotional support for vulnerable cases.
