Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve appropriate savings and service levels. Review project procurement contracts; coordinate contract compliance, change orders, and problem resolution in conformance with contract law. Manage relationships with external contacts, including removing obstacles to ensure optimal team performance.
•Co-ordinate with Project Manager with respect to delivery of materials, and monitor status of delivery.
•Coordinates with Supplier for supplies/services, evaluates their services at regular intervals and fulfills the requirements of internal end users.

Executes the review and approval of safety cases, technical evaluations, MOS and permits, coordinating with other departments/entities in meeting company objectives. Conducts internal and external audits and inspections, in compliance with GCAA regulations and requirements. Updates the required IMS and SOPs documents, to achieve and maintain certification. Monitors PPM schedules, SLA, KPIs and periodical tests.

•Managed the proper operations delivered by outsourced service providers and contractors in GAA Airports.
•Supervised and executed rehabilitation, repair upgrade and development projects.
•Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time

Reviewed contact/tender documentation, liaising with planning, engineering and budgeting departments. Performed a formal review of project progress, including challenges identified and recommended corrective action plans.  Plan, Manage, Monitor and Control the work undertaken within own section, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, specifications, quality, customer expectation in line with the contractual obligations and company policies and procedures.  Communicate and integrate with other project sections, engineering and entities.  Establish the resourcing requirements for the project execution, ensuring adherence to management directions, budget and safety requirements and agreed milestones.  Take necessary remedial action where non-compliance was identified

• Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
• Setting out leveling and surveying the site;
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
• Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect.
• Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Liaising with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
• Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site.
• Preparing reports as required.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
