- Maintain and update UNIX system administration standards to ensure most efficient services, systems availability, system security, system performance, software upgrades and maintenance, software distribution on a global basis.
- Contribute to the implementation of projects and initiatives related to IT systems administration in line with the industry best practices and Risk and Regulatory requirements, and Identify best practice solutions (h/w, s/w) to automate / enhance systems administration procedures, or to resolve audit findings.

Operating Systems and Databases Section Head (Jan 2020-Present)
• Manage all operating systems and databases teams covering three main categories:
• AIX/Linux
• Windows Platforms (including Active Directory and Exchange)
• Databases (Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MongoDB, MS-SQL)

- Responsible for administration and support for more than 90 AIX LPARs.
- Installation and Configuration for AIX LPAR’s (AIX 5.2 & AIX 5.3)
- Provides direct technical support for all requirements in the planning, coordination, programming, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to AIX operating system software, transaction monitors, and the range of products and productivity tools that support the development, testing and production environments.
- Ensures stable performance for the AIX environment through performance monitoring and tuning.
- Plans and implements major software upgrades, ensuring change management procedures and methodologies are implemented and followed.
- Responsible for proposed development, database design and administration (working with DBAs for Oracle and DB2 databases), software installation, product troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
- Analyze, design, code, test, debug, maintain, modify, and document AIX operating systems to meet business requirements.
- Determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Provide technical support to customers, project managers, and product developers (like LDAP, WebSphere, TAM, WebSeal, ATM ISTSwitch, TSM, … etc).
- Problem resolution tracking in AIX operating system.
- Creating and maintaining LPARs on RS/6000 P550, P570 and P690 machines using HMC.
- HACMP Implementation for Production Environments.
