Implementing and maintaining emergency alert detection and epidemiological
surveillance systems/monitoring according to MSF protocols, standards, and
procedures in order to contribute to appropriate evidence-based decision making
using well-managed health data in an outbreak and emergency MSF.
Closely work with government officials via creating and strengthen the network with
different structures of the country's health and disaster risk management Region, Zone
and wereda to follow and monitor the trends of diseases under public health surveillance
Managing data systems and ensuring accurate, high-quality databases; analyzing
results and preparing regular written reports on progress and findings for project
medical referent, and Medical coordinator.
Support and Collaborate with coordination to influence key decision processes and
strategic planning mainly at the initiation of interventions on public health
emergencies, natural and man-made disasters.
Attending and representing the organization on the regional task force, quarterly and
emergency operation meeting.
Ensure optimal management of HMIS to be updated all the time and Focal person for
GIS.
Partake in alert assessment and verification and pre-project opening assessment.
Accomplished 12 courses inclusive of Essential Project planning, implementing and closure, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, research methodology development and welfare economics courses with a 3.83 GPA. As part of the study conducted research on ¨Effectiveness of AMREF WASH Project on Sanitation and Hygiene practice in Addis Ababa, Kechene¨.
