Responsibilities
• Identifying underperforming students across key stages three and four, using exam analysis and CATs data.
• Producing detailed and innovative schemes of work.
• Tracking progress consistently, by setting realistic targets with student input, assessed at regular intervals throughout the year.
• Using differentiation to ensure that all students (especially SEN students) reach their full potential.
• Attending regular meetings with SEN coordinator, in order to gain a deeper understanding of SEN students’ needs and learning styles.
• Providing regular feedback to students and parents by means of parents’ evenings and reports.
- First class honours - Distinctions in both spoken Arabic and spoken Spanish (only graduate in entire year group to receive double distinction). - Recipient of Joan Bernard Award during second year (award and grant given to two highest acheiving students in the second year of their programme of study).
