2. Performs procedures like dressing, iv insertion and assists during minor procedures with physician.

2. Performs Emergency Room routine activities;

4. Assists dentists in performing dental procedures while maintaining aseptic technique;
5. Assists in labor, delivery and postnatal care;
6. Assists perineal repair in clinic;
7. Assists in dilatation and curettage;
8. Carries out newborn care;
9. Acts as liaison between patient and hospital personnel;
10. Maintain cleanliness, sterility and availability for proper function of the equipment and supplies
1. Give direct nursing care;
2. Performs routine nursing activities;
3. Observes signs and symptoms, institutes medical action when appropriate and records
this in her chart;
4. Reports observations to physicians;
5. Observes and responds to patients emotional and spiritual needs;
6. Prepares patient and assist physicians with diagnostic and special procedures;
7. Carries out doctor’s legal orders;
1. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.
2. Acts as a staff nurse under direct supervision of regular staff.
3. Assists in intrapartum and post partum care inside delivery room.
4. Ensures readiness of patients and family prior scheduled surgery.
5. Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
6. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
7. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills.
1. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
2. Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
3. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
4. Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
5. Assisting women throughout labor and the birthing process, labor and delivery nurses care for women who experience complications with their pregnancies and assist surgeons during cesarean deliveries.
6. Monitor both mother and child, provide postpartum care and educate new mothers about newborn care and post-delivery health issues.
7. Make sure that newborns with postpartum complications improve in a safe and supportive environment.
