I am working as Regional Manager RAN for central 1 region on ZTE CMPAK project. I am leading team of RF engineers, OMCR engineers and DT teams for central 1. Major responsibilities are to meet SLA targets for all major KPIs. This is being achieved by optimizing RF environment, soft and physical parameter tuning, frequency planning, introducing new features and trial, bench marking with other operators, cluster optimization, expansion proposals, traffic balancing, monthly meetings, corporate and customer complaint handling, weekly meetings with other technical departments and periodic network drive tests. All activities have defined SOPs to be followed.
I joined Ufone in 2006 as an Executive Engineer RF optimization. Ufone gave me platform from where I launched my Professional career. I chose RF field as this is very vast field where learning opportunities are very high.
During my time with Ufone, I was first promoted to Senior Executive Engineer RFO and then promoted to Assistant Manager. I was leading team for Central 1 region. My major responsibilities were to keep birds eye view on network. To make sure that necessary steps are taken and are reported to management with reasons and conclusions in case any abnormality happens in network. I was also responsible for monthly reports of my region which includes all kind of activities like KPIs trend, improvements and bottle necks of network, operational constraints, new site KPIs, Corporate complaints, Customer complaints status and future plans. I was also responsible for inter department communication whenever required.
Weekly meeting with NPM HUAWEI team to discuss current issues and plan for their resolution. Developed SOPs for optimization activities and their implementation.
I have done Bachelors of Science in Electronics and Communications with my majors in telecommunication. My CGPA is 3. 4. I have also done Advanced diploma in Telecommunicaions. I have also done Cisco Certification in Network Associate. I have a stron knowledge on GSM/GPRS/CDMA/WCDMA architectures. My area of specialized study is also in GSM. I have done my final project in studying the evolution of GSM towards WCDMA. I studied that with respect to architecture and technology.
