As the Head of IT at SAMA Finance SAE, I have the privilege of leading a dynamic team in one of the pioneering Lessors in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Our establishment, formed through a strategic joint venture with leading international institutions, is dedicated to providing medium-term financing solutions through equipment leasing.
• Develop the IT policies & procedures of the IT-supervised functions, ensuring compliance to the set policies and procedures
• Develops and sets the annual budget plan of the IT department, ensuring alignment with the companys vision and strategies and submits it to the CEO for approval
• Conducts performance appraisals session of IT direct report in due time
• Approves and follows-up on the implementation of training and development plan for department staff
• Leads, manages, and motivates direct reports ensuring that they have clear objectives and receive feedback from them
• Ensures the periodical system backups and recovery for all Servers/Equipment are performed according to the company standards and procedures to avoid any risk of loss, damage, or destruction of data
• Supervises the installation of the cabling, network systems
• Maintains and ensures their ongoing operations and provides technical support on need basis
• Ensures providing and maintaining a secure and reliable access to the Business and IT applications and implementing preventive measures to maximize the availability and enhance the performance of the network
• Ensures continuous monitoring for the IT Infrastructure operational cost and recommends new ideas to increase the productivity of the IT Infrastructure environment
• Maintains system performance by monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks; designing and running system load testing; escalating application problems to vendor
• Developing the Leasing ERP in ORACLE ADF.
• Implemented robust backup strategies to safeguard critical data against loss or corruption, minimizing potential risks.
• Facilitated seamless transitions during system upgrades or migrations by coordinating between stakeholders and mitigating potential disruptions to business operations.
