The Design Management Director, plays and important role at the company strategic level, responsible for 70% of his task objectives at ensuring SODIC goals and targets along with the daily activities with the team and all the associated stakeholders.
Working closely with the Development team at applying SODIC strategies, drafting development / design briefs and scopes of work to ensure packages delivery on time, with the allocated budget and quality standards, meeting the proponent requirements and comply with relevant Local and international Codes and Standards.
As a lead member, collaboration with leaders across SODIC enhancing the culture of design excellence, elevate the quality of design, and ensure each design cycle is correctly certified before proceeding to the next design cycle by hiring experts at several specialized areas like Landscape, Interior Design and Infrastructure. Successfully meeting the targets, scheduling and managing the transition of key functions and information from the strategy and design phase to construction and commissioning phase.
The Senior Director of Design is responsible for ensuring the comprehensive review of all concept strategies, development programs and design packages related to IGI projects and all enabling sub-projects, through close coordination with all IGI Sectors and Departments. In addition to working closely with the Development team to review and endorse strategies, development programs and business cases for the Regional Plan, the Senior Director of Design participates in direct interfaces with all IGI internal and external stakeholders, to confirm and concur that all their requirements are incorporated. Also coordinate closely with Development during the draft development stage of design briefs and scopes of work to ensure those packages meet Proponent requirements and comply with relevant Local and international Codes and Standards.
As a lead member of a technical team, collaboration with colleague leaders across the team to enhance culture of design excellence, elevate the quality of design, and ensure each design cycle is correctly certified before proceeding to the next design cycle. liaising closely with Directors and Managers to successfully schedule and manage the transition of key functions and information from the strategy and design phase to construction/commissioning phase.
Reporting to the Head of design department, with a fast-paced environment and a market leader developer, seeking perfection at every single detail across all the company developments. West projects, as a new destination for EMAAR at West Cairo with approximate 630 Acres leading the transformation of the development of the real estate industry, working across the existing development functions locally with a group of international consultants interwoven a masterpiece urban community for the top-notch clients and users. Working closely with the development team driving best practice and taking the team of architects, designers, and engineers to another level of perfection and practices getting the best out of people as well as offering support in their development.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, overseeing The Land Developers Family development portfolio, in leading the transformation of the development team, working across the existing development functions locally,
reviewing the current structure to re-establish processes to deliver the required outcomes. Working closely with the sales and marketing teams driving best practice and taking the team to another level establishing agile practices getting the best out of people as well as offering support in their development.
Manage workloads, work to multiple deadlines, deliver high quality outputs under pressure and represent the Land Developers developments at various meetings. Champion the values of the Public Services and actively manage multidisciplinary teams, projects, and communicating to Senior Management, The Land Developers Executive and Board on project performance, budgets, costs, issues, risks and team management.
Secure and lead projects for the organization as well as overseeing projects from conception to completion. Responsible for leading and managing the design activities as a core member in design management, executing and managing a healthy, productive, efficient, and collaborative workplace environment.
Design Review and Design Management; manage all the processes in relation to producing a set of drawings for MNHD projects. Coordinate the relationship between MNHD and External consultants which includes preparing RFP’s, Follow up plans, deliveries evaluation, etc.
Leading the Design Management effort on the City Gate Development in the Bawabet Al Sharq of New Cairo, from the PM side - Turner Middle East. This mixed use development will include the region’s most elegant commercial Buildings, Residential Buildings, Fancy Villas around the an 18 hole Golf Course attached to a central golf club house and facilities, such amenities are along with other mega retail mall, public plazas, cultural facilities, hotels, infrastructure all designed to fit an 8.5 million Sq. m ( around 2020 hectares).
Managing the Design process through different project stages to ensure compliance of project designs with time, cost and quality requirements for Citadel Plaza Projects; and proper achievement of the project vision
Providing overall direction, technical support & control of the project designs, having direct responsibility for design review, coordination, monitoring of design schedules, design drawings/documentation and tender process ensuring design quality and that the contractors are meeting the planned deadlines for the delivery of the project.
Such major key responsibilities Includes Concept Design, Detail Design, Tender Process and Design Management.
Developing a 32 million Sq.m., supervising master plan design and implementation for the whole development, assisting for the preparation of RFPs to local and international consultants, contractors and service providers, preparing designs, construction and bidding documents, managing architectural aspects of projects’ improvement while reviewing and approving contractors / suppliers shop drawings and submittals.
Group Leader Architect is responsible for designing, document preparation, bidding and managing construction for architectural aspects of projects’ improvement, Performs architectural designs for various aspects of projects, Interacts with other staff members and relevant departments, as well as outside groups and other consultants.
