• Played a crucial role for company in building a strong partnership and trusted relationship by managing Talent, Performance and Compensation reviews of over 20 senior professionals from cross functional leadership.
• Time & Cost Management for Mega projects with a total values exceeds 180 Million KD covering the electromechanical works in projects with several clients in oil sector and other governmental authorities such as KIPIC, KOC, MPW and MOD in addition to international companies such as FDH, Leonardo Aircraft (Italy) and Pizzarotti (Italy).
• Leading the planning and cost control department (Corporate side) with a team including 2 senior planning engineers, 4 planners and 2 Cost Engineers.
• Develop and implement planning and cost control policies and procedures.
• Monitor and review all aspects related to planning and cost control functions on projects to ensure that the quality of the cost engineering.
• Direct all planning and cost control engineers in the preparation and presentation of cost and schedule forecasts and status reports as required.
• Review all planning and cost control reports to ensure compliance with company procedure and expectations.
• Perform site visits to visualize the progress and ensure its compliance with provided reports.
• Conduct regular meetings with site planning and cost engineers to review work progress and discuss points of concern.
• Prepare regular progress reports for top management and address any concern or issue regarding planning and cost control functions within the projects.
• Support the project management to complete projects on time and within approved budget.
• Support the project managers decision-making process through providing all information necessary for a rapid identification of any unfavorable trend or any potential problem in time to start immediate corrective actions.
• Support the Project Managers and the Contract department during the contract changes/claims process providing the impact evaluation on costs and schedules.
• Developing my team member skills by giving a specific training for time and cost management new technologies and systems.
• Implementing the Earned Value Management System (EVM) to closely monitor for cost and time variances and At Completion Values such as Estimate to Complete & Estimate At Completion.
• Head of planning and cost management department for 10 projects including civil, electromechanical and maintenance projects with values exceeded 26 Million KD.
• Preparation of time schedule and all planning documentation from tender stage and the details programs in execution stage with all follow up reports.
• Monthly update reports, Two weeks ahead Schedule, Triggers for the delayed activities, drawings and materials.
• Preparation of Master scheduling including activities logic sequencing, manpower and equipment histograms and S-Curves.
• Reporting for the delayed Material procurement (order-manufacture-shipping-customer service release-arrival to site).
• Site progress data collection and analysis.
• Leading the PCD department for 18 projects for a value exceeded 87 Million KD.
• Implementing the Earned Value Management System (EVM) to closely monitor for cost and time variances and At Completion Values such as Estimate to Complete & Estimate At Completion.
• Guide and direct resolution of project difficulties and complex control problems.
• Interact with clients and attend regular meetings and provide reports.
• Determine design changes and schedule slippages impact.
• Develop and maintain establish standards to exhibit schedule and plan hierarchy and inform project and company management.
• Review performance and offer personnel development for employees.
• Recommend and customize project control systems to satisfy project requirements.
• Understand, practice and lead organization’s commitment by example to achieve zero incident safety.
• Determine significant irregularities, trends and variances and suggest corrective action.
• Gather inputs and update standard management reports.
• Coordinate with project management staff to ensure project objectives and timelines.
• Identify construction and maintenance costs on materials, equipment and labor.
• Create, review, and manage project schedules to identify progress, lead times and project sequences.
• Develop project controls personnel and Services Manager.
• Support project execution and project controls efforts by leading regional office project controls.
• Facility management production line including logistics
• Organizing paperwork, such as purchase orders and delivery schedules review orders.
• Keeping and updating records and information, as well as coordinating purchasing with clients and co-workers.
• Estimating the required cost for painting including materials and execution.
• Estimate the cost for implementing the quality plan such as inspection manpower and equipment costs.
• Prepare Cost control reports and productivity cost impact.
