 Setting out project works in accordance with drawings & specification.
 Perform structure analysis using SAP package
 Judging whether projects are workable by assessing materials, costs and
time requirements
 Assessing the environmental impact and risks connected to projects
 Preparing bids for tenders, and reporting to clients, public agencies and
planning bodies
 Supervising and counseling junior or trainee engineers
 Preparation of BOQ for construction works
 To evaluate the quantity estimate and rate analysis for works

 Liaising with the project planning engineer regarding construction

 Making sure sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements.
