Rresponsible for directing Commercial and International Contracts Section and documentation from a legal perspective.
•Participate and contribute to the development and refinement of the Vision and Strategy of Zain IRAQ and contribute to the overall process of management and corporate decision making.
•Direct the provision of pro-active and re-active legal advice to all areas of Zain IRAQ e.g. customer and channel agreements, intellectual property law, commercial litigation and other dispute resolution.
•Direct the compliance with governmental regulator policy in Iraq according to the telecommunication license and the concerned legislations.
•Lead the revision, drafting and negotiation of all legal documentation to be entered into or issued by the Company (e.g. agreements, letters of intent, Memoranda of Understanding, standard terms and conditions, letters in response to customer complaints, etc.), with delivering high-quality services.
•Provide support, advice and direction on contracts and litigation that have a strategic impact on the business,
•Lead the preparation and management of standard form documentation templates to ensure consistency.

Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations. Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses. Analyse the probable outcomes of cases. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases or to initiate legal actions. Registering foreign and national companies in Iraq.

Review, revision, preparation, drafting different governmental contracts and tenders e.g. (Contracts of supply, construction, daily worker contracts, alliance and PPP contracts, maintenance and service contracts).
Implements organizational strategies and policies and plans the use of materials and human resources; Manages the overall daily office operations, Assure the filing of all legal and regulatory documents and monitors compliance with relevant laws and regulations, Representing the Company before courts and judicial establishments, Review, preparation and negotiation of different contracts and tenders related to contracting (Contracts of supply, construction, daily worker contracts, alliance and PPP contracts, maintenance and service contracts), Ensure all bases are covered before a project begins, Make sure buildings are being built on land that has been approved for development and that projects have the necessary financial backing.
