• • Handling accounts up to finalization; preparing monthly profit & loss account, balance sheet and other management reports
• Preparing and delivering presentations on Monthly MIS and various related schedules cost center wise and critically reviewing the revenue and cost sensitive areas periodically
• Preparing and filing of VAT returns periodically, without fail & Functioning as the head of the team for preparing the tax returns and books of accounts
• Providing advice on tax planning and VAT
• Dealing with the preparation and submission of Vat returns on a Monthly basis, as per the rules and regulations.
• Analyzing Profitability Reports of individual projects
• Coordinating with the External & Internal Auditors for the finalization of accounts; monitoring cash flow & bank funds
• Compiling & presenting yearly budgets; reviewing them periodically as and when changes are made; comparing with actual performance
• Administering activities like:
o Management of Accounts Receivables with emphasis on timely invoicing and following up collections
o Management of Accounts Payable and releasing payments to creditors monitoring companies fund position
• Shouldering responsibility of preparing monthly payroll of more than 2000 employees under different contract under Wage Protection System and their disbursements
• Calculating Staff leave entitlements for offshore & onshore staff as per the contract
• Accountable for preparing Site Wise Material Cost, Payroll Cost, Other Direct Costs and Allocation of Overhead Expenses to various sites
• Undertaking activities like project costing and comparing with actual cost
• Responsible for preparing Site Wise Profitability & Bank Reconciliation Statements every month
• Reconciling inter companies accounts every month
• Verifying physical of closing stock & maintaining records
• Maintaining Fixed Assets Register and passing entries for Depreciation, Pre-paid Expenses, Provisions, Accrued Expenses & End of Service Benefits
• Formulating monthly contribution for local employees; uploading file on monthly basis and passing necessary entries
