a) Project Description
Routing the CBA LSD credit transactions from different channels such as CBA POS,
Commlink, FDRA and WOW to BPH through CTS/Connex.
Lock and block functionality for TEMP, INTL, CNTL and ECOM.
b) Contribution
I work for Payments Services Organisation. Payment services provide the direction,
leadership and expertise to deliver exceptional customer experiences today and into
the future. I enable payments to be easy, reliable, adaptable and secure.
My role involved in understanding and analyzing the BRD.
Requirement Analysis, Test strategy and Test Plan, Creating Test Specifications, Test
scenario preparation, Test case preparation, Test data preparation, managing test
cases in ALM and Test cases Execution and TRR document preparation.
Defect Tracking and Defect Reporting.
Updating test cases and test data.
Generating Excel Reports, Status Reports, Preparing Test Summary Reports and Test
Closure.
a) Project Description
The system titled (I)VServe is BT's strategic application within BT Domain
Management Platform
This system is an OSS standard solution for Network Activation & Inventory
Management for BT MPLS provisioning for UK & ROW customers.
The system consists of OMS (provisioning), ASAP(activation engine) and Objectel
(inventory).
BT is using Vserve / iVserve applications to configure a VPN connection for the end
user.Vserve configures the Network Element like PE (Provider Edge) and CE
(Customer Edge) Router for various services for UK and Non UK customers on
different access media i.e. Ethernet, Leased Line, ATM, FV and DSL.
b) Contribution
Work under supervision on analysing test requirements, designs and builds simple
test case suites, test scripts, and test procedures (with expected results) to be
executed by experienced colleagues.
Interprets and executes sets of moderately complex test scripts using agreed
methods and standards.
Checks test results, and documents test failures and successes compared with predetermined
criteria, in accordance with agreed standards.
Reports test results to supervisor and/or other colleagues in a clear and concise
manner.
Plans and schedules own work from requirement understanding, testing and support
of the application in order to meet the team’s deliverables.
Uses discretion in identifying and resolving complex problems and assignments,
pertaining to iVserve component system testing.
Communicates effectively with BT staff, internal customers, peers & other project
teams in order to deliver iVserve test suites.
Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to problem solving. Contributes
fully to the work of iVserve component testing team.
Applies best testing practices, identifies and helps resolve problems and issues with
simple to medium complexity.
Takes part in test case reviews of own work. Takes active part in peer reviews.
Provides support for iVserve testing and reports progress and issues to supervisor in
an unambiguous way.
Uses standard operating facilities like web browser, test scripts, diagnostic tools like
WinSCP, VOrderForm, technical manuals and systems documentation in tools like HP
Quality Control to identify, diagnose and report on basic system errors.
Worked mainly on SQL Developer, Putty, EditPLUS, Winscp.
Co‐ordinates with various teams (like iVserve design & development teams) for
resolving issues and understanding the root cause.
