• Adherence to and development of Quality process and procedures in all operations aspects to meet ISO standard.
• Manage and facilitate perfect delivery of project and Key Account objectives.
• Monitor information to identify projects planned, tenders awarded, logistics RFI/RFQs expected, etc
• Maintain relationships with EPC contractors, etc to secure early intelligence about future opportunities.
• Complete commercial tenders and technical pre qualifications for project bids.
• Ensure that EPCs logistics requirements are understood and clarified before finalizing tender.
• Monitor and record files / documents for service contracts on all Projects and Key accounts.
• Ensure perfect vendor selection and assessment for suitability for scope of works.
• Any other responsibilities that are agreed with reference to Projects and Operations from time to time.
• Achieve set targets and deadlines by management.

• Execute projects per project plans.
• Ensuring daily status report prepared and monitored for all customs clearance activities
• Develop forms and records to document project activities.
• Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
• Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion.
• Take extra initiative on cross border clearance of shipments for local and overseas clients
• Lead Duty Exemption List and duty refunding services for Project clients
• Coordinate temporary import and re-export of cargo based on need of the project.
• Provide guidance to clients about various restriction in DGR goods import and assist in arranging Chemical permit, Security permit, CITC permit, SFDA permits etc based on requirement.
• Ensure correct supervision of loading and offloading of critical break bulk cargoes at port and site.

Following are the roles and responsibilities took under this period:
1) Terminal Foreman
• Checking with the Scheduler for the day’s schedule (e.g. Container stuffing, incoming material handling and flatbed loading).
• Assessing job priorities and assigning Team Leaders and Operators to appropriate location.
• Ensure staff have the necessary tools and equipment needed for job in order to ensure a good output.
• Overseeing the work and making sure it runs smoothly and as per the plan.
• Ensure adherence to safety precautions.
• Helping in training new employees and helping them as they learn new tasks.
• Giving clear directions to workers as to what needs to be done to avoid repetitive mistakes by the workers.
• Coordinate with safety department in analysing incident reports and maintaining safety within the terminal.
• Support inventory department by assigning operators for the periodic physical count, bin to bin transfer etc.
• Evaluate quickest and easiest way to a job without sacrificing quality of the work being done.
2) Inventory Officer
• Monitor the smooth operation of the Inventory Department.
• Coordinate with Foreman with the periodic physical count, additional rework and bin arrangements.
• Preparation of Monthly Report at the end of each month.
• Expedite the preparation of various reports like tail end, stock aging etc.
• Liaise with client in carrying out quarterly and yearly stock taking in the presence of external auditor.
3) Scheduler
• Receive orders from client with related various inbound and movements of shipments
• Prepare loading and dispatch plan according to various kind of export requirement
• Necessary liaison with order processing team with the support of SAP software
• Liaison with various shipping line and their terminal in releasing necessary containers to transporters.
• Update client daily with achieved reports on container, flatbed dispatches
• Report terminal manager with trends on complete activities during the month.

GEM-Warehouse Super User - Lead the implementation of a warehouse management software by involving from its core development till its parallel run and full-fledged operations.
