Safely operate the 400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV Substations equipment’s Within the electricity Network.
Accountable as an Authorized Person for preparation, issue and cancellation of specific safety documents in compliance with TRANSCO System Safety Rules.
Support LDC in Trouble shooting Grid Station alarms or Emergencies.
Co-ordinate with ADDC/ ADCO/ADNOC for shutdown of Equipment’s and provide inter system safety precaution documents to requesting party.
Operation and troubleshooting of HVAC, LVAC Equipment’s.
Troubleshooting of Firefighting Equipment’s- CO2 System, Fire Alarm Panel, H2 sensor, Smoke detectors.
Quarterly Inspection of 400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV AIS/Metal Clad Switch gear, 110V/48V Battery Chargers, Battery Banks, DCDB as per standard operating procedures and provide reports.
Perform Visual and HSE Inspection of Substation Equipment’s as per Check list.

Managing team for Operation and Maintenance of 400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV Substation- Switch yard equipments-Power Transformers, Circuit Breakers, CT, CVT, LA, and Transmission Lines, South Al Sharqiya region, Oman (10 No’s of Grid Station with various capacities) .
HSE Management representative for the project HSE Management.
Perform HSE-MS Internal Audits for teams in all oman and ensure Compliance with latest international Standards EMS & OHSAS 18001:2007, Project/Contract/service Specific Docs., and client's Standards.
Maintain the HSE incident reporting system of total project in the Intelex system/ Oracle system (NIMS).
Adhere to EMS system by preparation and implementation of Environment Impact register, Safety disposal procedures and adherence to legal requirements.
Prepare the HSE Statistics report for O&M project consisting of Safe man days, Safe man hours, LTI, HSE Trainings, Incident reporting, HSE Improvements and suggestions.
Prepare Operation (Switching Schedule) and get approval from LDC (Load Despatch Centre) and other authorities using CMMS software.
Prepare Maintenance schedule with team and achieve targets as per schedule.
Support LDC in Trouble shooting Grid Station alarms or Emergencies.
Prepare Risk Assessment and Method statement in adherence to OETC system safety rules.
Maintain Log Book for readings and alarms in all Grid Stations.
Raise Defect Reports and follow up for completion of defects.
Inspection and Maintenance of 400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV AIS/Metal Clad Switch gear, 110V/48V/30V DC Battery Chargers, Battery Banks, DCDB as per standard operating procedures and provide reports.
Inspection and Maintenance of 400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV GIS (Gas Insulated Switch gear) - SF6 gas handling with DILO machine, SF6 Quality check, Circuit breaker operating mechanisms (Hydraulic, Spring).
