1. Worked as a research scholar in Nanotech research innovation and incubation centre (NRIIC), PSG Institute of Advanced studies for the period of around 6 years from November 2015 – September 2021. 2. Worked as JRF for three years on a project titled: - “Multifuctional complex oxide nanostructures of iron and titanium for diverse applications” during May 2017 to May 2020 funded by University Grants Commision Department of Atomic energy - Consortium for Scientific Research (UGC DAE CSR), Kalpakkam. ACHIEVEMENTS • Won best oral presenter award from International Conference on Multifunctional and hybrid materials for chemical process, energy, environment and medical applications (ICMHCEE 2019). • Won Young researcher award from International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICNAN 2019). ACADAMIC PROJECTS ❖ Spinel based nanostructured materials for asymmetric supercapacitor application (Ph.D. Project 2018-2021) ❖ Synthesis and characterization of alkaline earth metal stannates for energy and catalytic applications (M.Phil. Project 2015-2017) ❖ Synthesis of ammonium carbonate derived organic aerogel : Characterization and studies of their physical properties (M.Sc. Project 2015) ❖ A study of the parameters of water taken from different sources (B.Sc. Project 2013) INSTRUMENTS HANDLED FT-IR spectrophotometer, Particle Size Analyzer / Zeta Potential, Electrochemical Workstation, UV - Visible Spectrophotometer, Thermogravimetric Analysis, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Spin Coater, High Energy Ball miller, Optical Microscope. TECHNIQUES USED Nanomaterial synthesis (Chemical), Thermo gravimetric Analysis/Differential Scanning Calorimetry (TGA/DSC), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Raman Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope (HRTEM), Brauner Emmet Teller (BET), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Cyclic Voltammetry, Chronopotentiometry, Tafel Plot, Differential pulse Voltammetry, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy.
