•Responsibilities: -
•Review of the final issue of PID’s from point of view of commissioning and start-up, issuing of PID’s modification according with project standards and regulations,
- Preparation of scope and the responsibilities for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, pre-commissioning & commissioning plan,
- To define the organisation chart and necessary resources for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
- Identification of systems and sub-systems by marking up of PFD’s and PID’s - system definition, ,
- Preparation of operating manuals in cooperation with the Process Department, Process Licensors and Vendors,
- Preparation of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up execution plan; development of planning and scheduling of pre-commissioning and commissioning plan for entire projects and integration with Client planning for commissioning and start-up,
- Development of pre-commissioning & commissioning procedures (air blowing, chemical cleaning, water flushing philosophies, E&I test and functional test, refractory drying, catalyst and adsorbents loading, steam blowing, etc.)
- Development of scope of work for chemical cleaning of special equipments such as steam boilers, well control panel’s, amine systems, compressors suction lines, etc.. Technical evaluation of sub-contractors bids for work packs,
- Development of safety procedures to be used during pre-commissioning & commissioning activities such as tagging, vessels entry for inspections, isolation & blind installation procedures and work permit procedures in collaboration with HSE department,
- Preparation of commissioning and operational test procedures for packages unit, specific utility or process systems in collaboration with licensors, vendors and engineering department,
- Preparation of performance test procedures in collaboration with licensors and engineering department,
- Development of pre-commissioning & commissioning list for populating of the commissioning IT tracking tool (Win PCS) with engineering data. I.e. : equipment list, instrument list, cable schedule, load list, etc.,
- Development and review with vendors of lube oil and seal gas systems flushing/cleaning procedures for compressors, gasturbines, steamturbines, etc.,
-Familiar with ASME, ASTM and API specifications
•Involvement in FROND END ENGINEERING AND DESGN(FEED), involving equipment sizing, line sizing, pump hydraulics.
• Knowledge of major industry Codes and Standards API, ASME, TEMA.
•Involvement in EPCM related activities.
