Position Summary: The nurse is responsible for giving quality healthcare service to patients with gynaecologic and fertility problems including proper assessment, assisting in diagnostic exams, giving hormonal injections, assisting in day surgeries (egg collection, embryo transfer, testicular sperm retrieval and testicular biopsy) from admission till discharge and follow up consultations. As a theater nurse, duties and responsibilities also include instruments cleaning and disinfecting the OT area.
The nurse is responsible for giving quality healthcare service to patients with gynaecologic and fertility problems including proper assessment, assisting in diagnostic exams, giving hormonal injections, assisting in day surgeries (egg collection, embryo transfer, testicular sperm retrieval and testicular biopsy) from admission till discharge and follow up consultations. As a theater nurse, duties and responsibilities also include instruments cleaning, autoclaving, disinfecting the OT area, and is in charge of CSSD.
Position Summary: The nurse is responsible for working with the professional care team by assessing the patient, planning the care, providing nursing interventions and assisting the physician in the provision of high quality, compassionate care to the patient and family.
Work Description:
Provide quality nursing care to ICU/NCCU/Renal Dialysis patients in accordance to standards
Close monitoring of vital signs
Accurate intake and output monitoring
Administration of oral and IVTT medications as per physician’s order
ECG monitoring and accurate knowledge in interpretation
Preparation, set up and operation of mechanical ventilator as per physician's order
Carrying out physician's orders and proper documentation of each procedure done to patients
Provide /arrange health education/counselling to patients and families
