Responsibilities:
1. ADMINISTRATIVE/MANAGERIAL
•Strong management skills i.e. project management including all resource management including time & human resources
•Preparation of all day to day reports, co-ordination among all the entities involved in the projects
•Handling the staff issues and preparing a good team to work
•Maintaining the standard of work up to the expectations throughout the project execution
•Effective customer support techniques and co-ordination skills
2. CIVIL WORK
•Supervision of all Civil work for FTTH project including Trenching, Ducts/Sub-ducts, laying of PE pipes, back filling, MH/MMH/HH fixing & connections, rope shooting, Cable pulling etc.
Installation of Cabinet (FDT)
•Laying / Pulling of Cable from Exchange to FDT and from FDT to customer. (Feeder, Distribution & Drop fibers)
•Strong understanding of all civil and engineering especially Telecom. drawings including RED (Route Engineering Drawing) lines
3. FTTH
•Supervision of pulling & blowing of OFC and fixing of U-guards, TBs, OTBs, OSBs / Splitters & Closures etc.
•Splicing work on TBs, OTBs, OSBs, Closures and Cabinets.
•Testing and troubleshooting of cable connectivity according to the Plan.
•Working knowledge of OTDR, power meter, splicing machine and other optical testing equipment.
•Managing activities according to the project demands.
•Preparing all kinds of reports e.g. cable placing length, RED line, Power testing and all other reports as per requirement or as demanded by the vendor
•Controlling & managing the supply of the equipment and other articles needed for the projects..
4. PRE-PAT, OIL and PAT
•Expert in preparing site for Pre-PAT, removing OIL and getting site ready for a good for PAT.
•Well versed with procedures of PAT and its requirements. Preparing PAT binder documents and proper hand over
