At Mobilink, I am working in the FIBER OPTICS OPERATION on the MOBILINK COUNTRYWIDE OPTICAL FIBER BACK BONE PROJECT as a Nationwide Operations Analyst.

• Cost, Budgeting & Business Analysis related to O&M of the Optical Fiber Network.
• Work with entity controllers and analysts to provide analysis of O&M for Fiber optics and monthly performance relative to budget and forecast.
• Play an Instrumental role in the preparation of the financial forecasts and budgets.
• Conduct quarterly Audits in all major cities that include Network & Inventory Audits.
• Responsible for the timely and accurate monthly reporting of consumption, Variances, Work in Process, Project & O&M Cost and Inventory. Most importantly, Fault Ratio Analysis.
• Develop and track key operation & maintenance performance metrics.
• Make specific recommendations as to inventory level controls & cost containment for better network health thus reducing risk levels related to spares.
• Contract Management, Planning BOQ, Penality Imposition / Calculations
• Coordination with, Sub cons and Fiber Manufacturing Companies for all kind of support & after sale service that includes Civil Works & O&M related to the OFC network.
• Data Base Mangement / Installed Modules Count + Spare Parts and Inventory Management for All Huawei NE’s Nationwide
• Logistics Support, i.e. Coordination with international service center (Huawei China/Hong Kong, JDSU France) for timely and accurate delivery of required modules & R&R.
• Works on Oracle Financials for initiating Purchase Requisition, follow ups for Purchase Orders, supervises subordinates for the verification of Invoices, GRN, DN’s and PAF’s hence monitoring the payment process.
• Strong liaison with Technical Procurement, Technical Budgeting, Technical Logistics, Production, TXN Planning for day to day issues.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis; including process improvement activities in Finance and Operations

At Nokia, I worked on the Telenor GSM/EDGE Project as a Coordinator in Network Operations (Managed Services Team) and was responsible for the Property Management Business of 1500+ BTS/BSC Cell Sites in the North and Central Regions of Pakistan.

My job responsibilities were:

• BTS/BSC Electricity, CM/PM Invoice handling & processing
• Reporting of fuel consumption for BTS/BSC sites (North & Central Region) on monthly basis.
• Coordination with FLM, Sub cons and Electric Companies.
• Monitoring financial activities through various financial reports of more than 35 branches of UBL in different cities, allocating funds for bills and rent payments for Telenor Project.
• Managing database and reconciliation of financial statements on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Ware House Management
• Logistics Support, i.e. reporting of the reduction of transceivers and faulty equipment.
• Providing assistance to Hardware Services and Spare Parts Management.
• Cash Management in Ongoing O&M Projects.
• Reports regarding preventive maintenances of cell sites of North & Central Region.
• Cost Analysis and budgeting of finances.
• Facilitation & Event Management i.e. Hotel reservations Air ticketing, arranging Cricket & Football matches, Concerts, Team Buildings and Dinners (Ocassionally).
