Strategic Responsibilities:
• Support the development of HSE vision, strategy and management system aligned with international best practice.
• Monitor HSE strategies that promote sustainable development in line with policies/procedures, values, vision, and mission.
• Ensure that HSE is accommodating anticipated growth and has a heightened profile in line with all strategic objectives of the business.

• Develop and manage the implementation and compliance with the company's Management System (HSEMS).
• Develop, publish, review and revise the HSE policy, manuals, procedures and work instructions, ensuring compliance with ISO 45011, ISO 14001 and all relevant UAE regulations.
• Assist in developing, coordinating, and implementing directives associated with the operation and maintenance of contract programs for HSE compliance purposes.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required forms, records and reports relative to the company's HSE programs.
• Design and develop a comprehensive package of HSE training for the company.
• Review the monthly program meeting data for the HSE section.
• Maintain the HSE training log and ensure that all HSE personnel are trained to the latest version of the appropriate standards.
• Assist senior management in preparing for external HSE audits.
• Lead investigations into workplace incidents resulting in the injury or illness of employees, and/or damage to equipment and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety directives and other practices set forth by management.
• Monitor safety deficiencies and coordinate corrective action as necessary.
• Provide technical management and expertise to ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations.
• Conduct HSE Committee meetings with area managers and/or supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with the Hazardous Waste Management Plan and Emergency Response Plan.
• Perform compliance reviews of manifests and shipping documents to ensure accurate disposition of all wastes being generated by company-controlled sites.
• Interact with the UAE Government to secure permits as required.
• Submit contractually required reports.
• Prepare and present HSE data for the annual HSEMS management review and any other management meetings.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.

Achievements and accomplishments; included but were not limited to:
• Chaired the Gas Site Visits Survey (230 buildings) in ALDANA area.
• Chaired the Department BCM Internal Audit (54 sections) on behalf of the BCM Team.
• Introduce the new Fuel Storage Tanks Regulations.
• Nominated as a Communication Focal Point with Civil Defense for Gas incidents.
• Effectively participated licensees’ exercises, drills, site visits and SRA Audits.
• Chaired the Safety in Heat campaigns.
• Developed and implemented the RSB Incident Reporting Regulations Third Edition.
• Developed the RSB Incident Reporting System project and its implementation.

Summary of duties as an HSE Senior Engineer:
• Competently review submissions of Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems from nominated entities and licensees.
• Provides competent health, safety and environmental guidance and advice.
• Investigate incidents/accidents from nominated entities and other Department of Energy licensees and ensure appropriate, timely and responsible actions are taken to mitigate the same accident/incident in the future.

Achievements:
•Conducted ADCO unannounced Emergency drills program. Summary of duties as an Emergency Response Advisor:
•Provided ongoing monitoring of the effectiveness of the Crisis & Emergency Response Plans Procedures, Standards, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
•Participated in incident response duties during emergencies, drills, and Crisis.

Achievements:
• Participated in the Habshan-Fujairah oil pipeline project.
• Completed ADCO training program in one year instead of 2 for become HSE Engineer
• Promoted 2 grades in 7 years.
Summary of duties as an HSE Engineer:
• Implemented the company’s safety policies and procedures in the workplace.
• Conducted all HSE inspections and audits, meetings, and internal training as required.
• Headed the Security team and provided them with essential training.

Achievements:
• For my extraordinary performance, I have been promoted to 3 grades in 9 years.
Summary of duties as Safety Inspector:
• Conducted Inspections for renewing Civil Defense Certificates, in additional to Inspected new projects approved drawings for fire alarm and firefighting systems.
• Conducted Inspections for Governmental and private projects upon request.
• As an officer in charge I Dealt with all Emergency Response situations.
