Support all major systems, to ensure maximum operating efficiency and availability.
• Administration for (WIN Server, MS HV, VMWARE 6.5, SCCM Servers , File Servers, WSUS Server, Symantec NetBackup Server, Citrix (XenApp) Farms, Kaspersky Antivirus Servers, SQL Servers, Web App Servers).
• Perform and Administrator (Symantec NetBackup solutions ) daily, weekly and monthly backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Administer & configure Nagios XI monitoring and check the availability & performance of the server platforms on which they are hosted.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Provide 2nd level support to the IT Staff in the field offices of Jordan, Lebanon Syria, Gaza and West Bank.
• Support the development teams and the 24/7 group in deploying applications and solving problems.
• Participate in all the Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) failover exercises which migrated all the agency web-based centralized database systems from Brindisi to Valencia’s UNGSS Data Center.
• Ensure maintenance, availability, performance, integrity and security systems, and exposure to Exchange 2007, active directory, Windows 2008.
• Information Security Coordinator within IT department that is responsible for vulnerability assessment and implementation of security baseline.
• Design & Deploy the Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
• Installing & Administer Backup Exec for servers & Desktop and laptop Backup (Symantec DLO Exec.).
• Installing & maintaining Kaspersky Anti-Virus
• Monitor the performance of software applications, operating and communication systems; documents any errors and follow up as required.
• Ensure maintenance, availability, performance, integrity and security systems, and exposure to Exchange 2007, active directory, Windows 2008.

• Part of different security project with engineering department (Engineering security Roadmap).
• Manage the hardware and software configuration of all major systems, to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
• Knowledge in Cisco IPCC.
• Good knowledge in the mobile core infrastructure.
• Specific experience in messaging platforms such as Huawei MMSC and SMSC, UMS, WAP GW.
• Experience in Bulk messaging system, USSD, content management system, etc.
• Handle and monitor system updates and upgrades with the vendor.
• Design and analyze of statistical reports.
