• Raising Notes for Approval (NFAs) for processing of payments to the dealers
• Performing reconciliation of payments to dealers at period-end and recording transactions/entries in SAP
• Reconciliation of payments credited to customers accounts with the banks report
• Reviewing customers Bank Guarantees (BG) and updating customers credit limits
• Creation of With-holding Tax (WHT) in customers ledgers and its adjustment in respective accounts
• Preparation of Receivables Aging Report & Expected Credit Losses (ECL) working for management
reporting
• Carrying out credit limit rationalization periodically for limits allocated to customers
• Reconciliation of prepaid card customers (DigiCash) account balances at period-end.

During my tenure at HUBCO, my responsibilities included the following;

Financial Planning & Analysis
• Reporting of the receivables of group entities based on the collection received from Central Power Purchasing Agency Guarantee Limited (CPPA-G)
• Issuing Capacity Payment/Energy Generation invoices to CPPA(G) and recording of revenue transactions
• Managing the operating data provided by plant sites for presentation to the management
• Co-ordinating with plant teams and other departments for consolidating the budgeted figures as part of the Annual Corporate Plan exercise
• Performing analyses of the actual costs incurred against budgeted expenditures
• Assisting with the preparation of Board Packs for presentation to the Board of Directors.

AP & Financial Reporting
• Recording necessary journal entries in Oracle E-Business Suite for timely closing of books of accounts
• Liaising with the Commercial and Treasury teams for processing trade payments
• Reporting receipts/issuance of inventory items including fuel procured at plant sites and performing inventory reconciliations
• Reconciling intra-group balances and bank ledgers in the subsidiaries’ books of accounts
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly/periodic financial statements of subsidiary entities
• Preparing analysis of the financial statements for management reporting as part of the period close process

• Monitoring inventories/supplies of fuels at HPL terminals/depots
• Coordinating with local/foreign suppliers to ensure timely transmission of Letters of Credit (LCs) against
fuel purchases
• Generating Purchase Orders in ERP system, coordinating with the customs clearing agents for filing Goods
Declaration (GDs) and recording receipts of fuels/petrochemical products
• Calculating landed costs of imported cargoes and cargo-wise profitability
• Updating prices of petroleum products based on fortnightly/monthly price revisions by the Ministry of
Petroleum
• Verifying product related payments to the local refineries and foreign suppliers
• Forwarding information related to purchases, etc. to the Ministry/regulatory bodies.

TDC is engaged in consulting, outsourcing & providing IT-enabled services. During my association with the firm,
conducted various accounting and business advisory engagements including assisting with the software
implementation at TDC clients, recording of accounting transactions in the software implemented and
preparation of Final Accounts.

Was involved as a team member in performing External Audits and other Assurance engagements in accordance
with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
