• Preparing and issuing purchase Orders/ Service
orders, Change Orders, etc.
• Estimate and establish cost parameters and
budget of purchase.
• Create and maintain a good relationship with
vendors/suppliers.
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services
and supplies.
• To perform and manage all activities involved in the purchase of materials
from local and overseas sources s per the company procedures and
methods.
• Carrying out effective negotiation on prices, terms of payments, and the
delivery based on the comparative statement.
• To effectively plan and monitor purchases in conformance to the specific
project requirement within time, cost, and quality.
• Ensure that the products and suppliers are high quality
• Negotiate and reconfirm terms and conditions including warranty, price,
discount, warehousing, and delivery in line with the project requirement
• Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties.
• Matching the indents and ensuring the availability of the materials.
• Ensuring an adequate and timely supply of materials from various sites
• Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through consistent tent
communication and follow-up with the vendor, distribution center, and
merchant team
• Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items between suppliers (Local &
Overseas)
• To closely monitor the purchasing of the major equipment of the project
• Coordinating with the accounts department for clearing supplier’s payment
-Oversee raw materials procurement processes,
ensuring appropriate remittance and delivery
-Build relationships with existing vendors and identify new vendors to service emerging needs
-Identify procurement processes to be improved or made more efficient
-Create and oversee KPI tracking and reporting
-Work with project managers to ensure materials availability
in Commerce 2011 o Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Kerala, India
