- Assist with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan
- Attend project planning meetings
- Facilitate site health and safety meetings
- Identification of the hazards and risks relevant through regular coordinated site inspections
- Conduct job hazard analysis
- Respond to employees’ safety concerns
- Verify all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
- Coordinate removal of hazardous waste
- Promote safe practices at the job site
- Inspect aircraft wing and tail surfaces for frost accumulation
- Scrape snow accumulated on the aircraft wing and tail surfaces
- Marshal to lead the aircraft to deice station stand
- Drive deice cart around the aircraft allowing the deicer to perform the job
- Dispense poly-ethylene glycol deice fluid over aircraft flight surfaces
- Examine the aircraft leading edges post deice operation
- Service deice equipment periodically and on-demand
- Perform airfield safety inspection to detect no FOD is present
- Ensure apron lighting is serviceable
- Ensure signs are visible and correct
- Ensure paint markings are visible and correct
- Monitor no birds or other wildlife are present
- Develop Safety Management training for airbus customers
- Research technical aspects of Safety Management Systems (SMS) from wide range of sources
- Record safety inputs from industry experts of multiple domain to fabricate training content
- Integrate core SMS concepts to enhance approach to safety risk management
- Incorporate real life scenarios into training modules for enhanced understanding
- Conduct weekly scheduled meetings to review training development
- Attend periodic evaluations conducted by Airbus
