I hold the position of the Web Development Instructor at Ementorz, an esteemed Digital Skills Academy.
My responsibility is to guide students through a comprehensive course curriculum that I have thoughtfully compiled by drawing upon my own learning experiences; equipping my students with the necessary skills to earn through web development.
I also help our E-commerce students by creating company websites for them to kickstart their journey.
As a Freelance Developer I undertake these tasks:
- Troubleshooting and/or Adding, Changing or Removing features to/from webs apps.
- Writing code in these Programming Languages: JavaScript, Python or PHP.
- Working with these frameworks: Express, Next.js, React, Flask or Django.
- Managing WordPress and WooCommerce websites. (Shopify/OpenCart less frequently)
- Web Hosting setup, DNS management, VPS configuration, Docker(containerization),
Server Administration and Web Server configuration(Apache, NGINX, Node.js).
- Testing, Optimization and Scaling.
- End-to-End Development of Web Applications.
Spearheaded the end-to-end development of taeralnawras.com, a React-based Application. As the sole developer, I was entrusted with the full spectrum of development tasks including but not limited to UX/UI design, server setup, domain hosting, implementation of server-side functionalities, testing and optimization.
This initiative enhanced the visibility of Taer Al-Nawras Signage, fostering trust among customers by showcasing the company's journey, achievements, and objectives. The digital platform facilitated easy communication, strengthening customer relationships whilst increasing brand exposure and the consumer base.
Stack:
React, Apache, MySQL, PHP and Sass. (RAMPS/LAMP)
As a part-time Operations Assistant, I managed logistics, including scheduling, coordinating with departments, ordering materials, and inventory management. I was responsible for strategic planning to ensure smooth operations and handled crisis management, effectively reallocating resources when necessary.
