Key Responsibilities
Reviewed, analyzed and/or drafted, and negotiated terms and conditions for all contract awards for the
company (domestic, international, construction, general procurement, development, branding, management
agreements, retail, lease and authority or government subtier contracts) and other agreements (NDAs,
amendments, MOUs, MOAs, Letter of Nominations etc.) utilizing corporate and local guidelines.
Successfully drafted contacts/agreements worth AED 5 Billion per annum. Conclude contract awards
that were required on an extremely critical basis.
Exposed to various standard forms of Contract (FIDIC, JCT, AIA and other bespoke forms).
Played a pivotal role in concluding final account statement for contracts within 2 months of issuing of
Taking Over Certificate.
Eliminated requirement of appointment of 3rd
party claims consultants by preparing extension of time
claims and other claims.
Established new techniques, working processes, risk management thereby reducing/saving cost.
Facilitated completion of assigned projects on time and within budget.
Built strong relationships with client and subcontractors.

Collaborate and co-ordinate with key internal departments to ensure agreements are compliant with legal,
insurance, finance and taxation to minimize exposure to Company.
Advise senior management of the implications of the Contract and advice best practices in the structuring and
negotiation of contracts. Refuse onerous liability terms to protect my organization from risk.
Reviewed non-standard software licensing and IT services agreements.
Prepare contractual letters and provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational

Preparing monthly applications, undertaking re-measures where appropriate and issuing payment notices in
line with the contract through to timely settlement of final accounts.
Developing evaluation statement for subcontractor offers (both commercial and technical); negotiating and
appointing preferred subcontractors.
