Project: C762 D LINE TSE PS & TRANSMISSION MAIN
The project comprises 64km of proposed TSE transmission mains, which are starting at the existing Doha South Sewage Treatment Works (DSSTW) and to be laid along the MME allocated corridor, along the Utility Main Corridor, the Salwa International Highway, up to Al Rakhiya Farms, and further up to New TSE storage lagoon.
The work will include primarily construction of D-Line TSE Transmission Main
D-line Pump Station DI Pipe Installation, testing & commissioning, including earthworks

Review of Inspection Testing plans, Method statements submitted by Contractor. Frequent site visits to oversee and supervise various construction activities in different stages foundation, sub structure, superstructure with a view to assure quality and execution as per Construction Drawings.Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports. Maintain record of inspection made, tests performed, work excuted, etc
-Checking of shop drawings & bar bending schedules. Inspecting construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the contract documents, approved shop drawings and submittals. Observing site safety practices and the progress of the work. Report any concerns to the ARE and assisting with the inspection of completed works. Taking photograph on daily basis. Establishing an appropriate working relationship with the contractor’s team and client. Placing emphasis on safe construction practices (Target Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of construction.

Setting out the works in accordance with drawings and specification. Liaising with the project-planning engineer regarding construction programs. Checking materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements. Observance of safety requirements. Resolving technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities. Observance of quality control with method statements, quality plans and inspection and tests plans, all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors. Liaising with company or project purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements. Supervising and counselling junior or trainee engineers. Measurement and valuation (In collaboration with the project quantity surveyor. Preparing record drawing, technical reports, and site daily diary. Site photographs on daily basis. Distribution of heavy machinery on different sites on daily basis. Ensure projects meet agreed specification, budgets or timescale. Liaising with client and consultant. Ensuring site safety.
