Handling weekly console containers from UK to Dubai
and arrange the transshipment movement to other
destinations.
Monitoring of the shipments from origin to destination
and provide the updates to the customers and the
agents on a timely basis. Also take adequate measures
to avoid any delay in transshipment points if any occurs.
Follow up of documents required for Import clearance of
the cargo with suppliers and agents. Ensuring accuracy
and completeness of required shipping documents.
Preparation of Quotation as per the requirement of the
shipment Sea freight (LCL& FCL)
Having routine communication with all the shipping lines
for the NOC to pull out the container from the port.
Handling import exchange BL’s/split DO’s
Reporting to the operation manager, the import and
transshipment details on a weekly basis and preparing
shipment weekly/monthly status reports.
Invoicing to customers and agents and responsible for
payment follow up and service providers bill settlement.
Organizing and maintaining an effective filing system.
Act as main point of customer contact.
Sending quotations & correspondence with internal
departments and overseas offices for rate negotiation.
Arranging meetings & preparing minutes of the meeting
Handling e-mail messages, in & out, for the General
Manager.
Reporting to the sales managers, regarding the progress
and issues of the job file.
