Responsibilities
2G & 3G
✓ Drive Test, Network performance optimization, Site Audits (checking Azimuths, Mechanical tilts, Electrical tilts, and panoramic views etc), Neighbors auditing of Different BSC's.
✓ Analysis of RF interference, Call drops, Handover failures and TCH assignment success rate etc.
✓ Conducting Data Throughput Test such as GPRS/EDGE
✓ Network improvement by fixing Call Drop, Rx Quality, SQI etc. and Network performance analysis.
✓ 2G Frequency Scanning in idle mode for interfering frequencies in sector to sector or in serving cell to neighboring cell by using TEMS INVESTIGATION.
✓ Monitoring of all the issues related to Quality of Services like CDR, HSR, CSSR, TCH and SDCCH blocking, Neighbor relationship inconsistencies, handover distribution, etc. to meet required Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) standards and troubleshoot hardware related issues.
✓ Post Processing on TEMS.
✓ Drive Test for New on air 2G sites to diagnose Radio parameters.
✓ Expertise drive in Site Integration, Coverage, Benchmarking, Monthly Cluster drives, BSC re-homing handover drives etc.
✓ Preparation of post drive test radio network investigation reports for new cell site validation, hot spot area, and Emergency Drive Test ( BSC Split, and Customer Complaint) recommending necessary changes to improve the cell/site performance.
✓ Neighbors auditing of Different BSC's.
✓ Performs 3G Indoor / Outdoor Signal Measurement signal coverage and quality, functionality testing, system handover performance/ cell reselection and troubleshooting.
✓ Conducting Data Throughput Test such as R99/HSDPA.
✓ Performs detailed drive testing and field measurements for Site and Cluster Optimization, route planning and cluster definition, data collection, post processing and analysis.
✓ Performs neighbor cell definition 3G to 3G, 3G to 2G and 2G to 3G neighboring plans.
✓ Cluster and Network Optimization by detailed analysis of Call Events, PS Throughput, RSCP and Ec/Io Plots, SC, Site Parameters and Neighbor List
Site audit and verification by identifying and rectifying swapped sectors.
✓ Determines missing neighbors and ensures proper orientation of antenna azimuth, panning and tilting.
✓ Use of post-processing tools in conjunction with other special purpose built tools for optimization reports and analysis.
