o Review and give approval to the shop drawings, material submittal submitted by the MEP contractor.

o Ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications, approved shop drawings & respective Authorities requirements.

o Monitor and report contractor’s progress and their all activities.

o Certifying MEP monthly progress payment percentages.

o Attends progress review meetings and coordination meetings to assist the Project Lead/Senior Engineer in resolving any site issues such as discrepancies in project’s drawings.

o Assist the Senior Resident Engineer in delivering all other obligations under the Conditions of Contract.

o Checking of and identifying all requirements for Testing and Commissioning of MEP works package.

o Assist in the generation of the Supervising Consultant’s Weekly and Monthly Reports.

o To give approvals and comments to the works carried out after the inspection.

o Highlights any violations to construction/ engineering related issues on site through issuance of NCRS.

I. RD&E RIVERLAND, Dubai Parks & Resorts; the project consists, the work are construction of 10nr North Buildings, 18nr South Buildings and Retaining wall for River Park RDE Structural and utilities work.

II. LAPITA Hotel, Dubai Parks & Resorts; the project consists, the work are construction of Main Building, 8 No. of Clusters, SPA and Ballroom

o Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all Mechanical and Electrical works.

o Ensure the MEP work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.

o Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the assist Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site.

o Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.

o Coordinates with Client / Consultant’s representatives for any site instructions and inspection of works.

o Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis at site.

o Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.

o Liaise with local authorities for the approval of MEP services drawings and service connection.

o Supervise the team for shop drawing & material submittals required for consultant’s approval.

o Responsible for all MEP invoices; submission to consultant / Client and managing approval for the same.

o Study the project’s Scope of Works, clients' requirement, BOQ, project milestones, and specifications from the bid documents.

o Prioritize enquiry items that require lead time and other large volumes items, which really affect the total value of the project & Prepare Estimation Schedule of the project.

o Upon preliminary study, prepare important prints and discuss with the Manager.

o Quantify the project electrical services drawings in order to determine the budget cost of the project, which is to be coordinated with the Mangers and Group team members.

o Prepare the technical Requirements.

o Clarify, with the clients, all the conflicts and discrepancies and communicate them with the Manager.

o Discuss all problems encountered in the process of bid preparation, Resolve with the Manager. Otherwise request clarification from the client.

1. Initially, carrying out design calculations for Electrical Distribution on variety of buildings like Residential, Commercial & Industrial.

3. Preparation of schematic design and detailed design of different services like Power, ICTS, Fire Alarm System and ELV systems.

4. Updated to rules and regulations of different local authorities such as Abu Dhabi/Dubai/Sharjah electricity & water authorities, Dubai Municipality, Etisalat, & Civil Defense.

5. Instruct CAD operators in respective project related matters.

6. Design of Fire Detection & Alarm System in accordance to Civil Defense Regulation.
