charge of four factories including foreign joint ventures
Developing and establishing financial policies & procedures in line with applicable laws, review and update of existing OPM ( Operational Procedures Manual ) including accounting policies, revising rules and regulations with special emphasis on processes as related to procurement, sales and collection to meet with SAP requirements
Working with SAP Mobilization team. The company was shifting from MCBA system to SAP, the system will integrate all the business functions providing the required business solutions with emphasis on the two main cycles of business i.e. OTC (from Order To cash collection) and P2P ( from Procurement to Payment to the supplier
Provides insights into business performances and visibility on results and initiatives through regular management reviews and financial analysis
Review of Customers Credit Facility Agreements, re-assessment of credit risks and subsequent update of revised and more appropriate credit Limits supported by business and legal documents, with special emphasis on Key Accounts.
Satisfaction of SIDF requirements as to competence of the Financial manager and the submission of complete financial data and documents in the prescribed formats in a way that satisfied the SIDF to pay the granted loan
Implementing of the standard costs system for the factory products in a way that assisted in fixing the selling prices and preparing the master budget and establishment of Management Reports system
Responsibilities:
Fully in charge of the following tasks:
Development of the internal controls policies, guidelines and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management and accounting
Periodic Review of standard costs and master budgets
Approval of disbursements in accordance with policies and procedures
Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting and procurement of the factory.
Direct the preparation of financial statements, financial position forecast, annual budgets, and reports required by regulatory agencies
Management of working capital by ( cash, inventory, receivables ) and payables
Ensure compliance with SIDF requirements and covenants
Advise management on actions regarding the purchase, lease, or disposal of such items
Coordinate audits of company accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with authorities’ requirements and statutes.

Position :
charge of finance function of 4 manufacturing companies( including foreign joint ventures)
My duties include :
Preparing monthly full financial packages including financial statements, management reports and financial analysis ( and attending) Presentation for Board review meetings
Compiling Business Plans (budgets) based on agreed financial guidelines including required: Growth rates, GPM/EBIT% and Cash Cycle components. and assessment of subsequent required adjustments
Working capital management through weekly monitoring of FCF. It covers:
Regular assessments of customers credit status and A/Cs Receivable Aging. Release of A/Cs on hold
Monitoring of Inventory levels with reference to production plans, inventory aging and status
Approval of disbursement to suppliers based on approved favorable credit terms and ensure their application to all companies in the group
Monitoring of standard cost and assessment of efficiency through control of performance measurements
Working with outside consultants including auditors
