- Manage the work with the projects design engineers to initiate the design process of mechanical services by providing information and responding to design consultant inquires.
- Review design proposals and options including drawings, calculations, and technical design reports for new projects and discuss with architectural and ID engineers for design coordination requirements.
- Review design deliverables such as concept design, schematic and detailed design documents & mechanical calculations and provide a technical comment to the design consultant to rectify/ respond.
- Prepare value engineering reports for mechanical systems to optimize the design quality and project budget by calculating the project designed demands requirements and modify the drawings, specifications & vendors.
- Communicate with local authorities for design NOCs and MAG Project management for projects tender documents review.
- Conducts site visits & work progress meetings to ensure design specific criteria are implemented according to design outputs and authorities’ regulations.
- Oversees day-to-day constructions issues; assigns tasks to project team during construction.
- Support projects team by responding to requested clarifications and technical inquires related to mechanical design.
- Work with the consultant engineer to develop mechanical designs, including all required drawings and reports for new design modifications required for site coordination.
- Assist the Quantity Surveying engineers for reviewing and approval of tender documents, including specifications, and Bills of Quantities.
- Provides work progress status reports and risk assessment reports for ongoing projects.
- Ensure implementing quality control policies and work procedures on site works activities.
- Support during the supervision stage, including responding to RFIs and solving mechanical design conflicts, in coordination with design and construction teams.
- Review all testing & commissioning, method statements, close out documents including as-built drawings and operation manuals reports required for projects handing over.
- Reviews and provides recommendations on the contractor’s claims or variations in coordination with financial department.
- Attend final inspections with authorities’ engineers for projects completion and responds to any required information related to the design and construction activities .

Perform cooling load calculation, water demand calculation and plumbing
calculation.
Perform AC unit’s selections, ducts and pipes sizing & energy efficient
designs.
Supervising for several projects in one time, reviewing contractors
materials and shop drawings submissions and managing site progress and
inspections.
