• Managing corporate finance team, day to day operations and administration, supervising and overseeing corporate finance regulatory applications process and execution (Rights issue, IPOs, Bonds and Sukuk).
• Initiated regulations, managed exposure drafts with stakeholders in order to complete corporate finance legal platform.
• Developed a work flow to enhance quality and to expedite turnaround time.
• Member in IOSCO team, Kuwait Mortgage legislation committee and other internal committees.
• Originated venture capital funding packages in the $5MM - $100MM range. Packages included business plan development, ROI and financial structure modeling for capital deployment; and negotiating terms.
• Developed and managed financing structure arrangements for affiliate companies tailored to their requirements.
• Managed cash and financing for the group and created budget pro-forma for affiliate companies.
• Secure the financing requirements for an order of 60 Airbus-320, which is placed via AerVenture - the joint venture between Al-Fawares and AerCap.
• Successfully financed and secured pre delivery and delivery payments for AerVenture in total of USD 1.8 billion through facilities and a capital market transaction, winning Aviation 2008’s financing deal of the year.
• The prime stone transaction is ALS II, securitization deal worth USD 1.2 billion, for 30 aircraft delivery payments.
• Set up Rasameel’s infrastructure: IT, policy, protocols and standard operating procedures, marketing plan and other business document templates and forms.
• Originated and managed product line including Sukuk issuances, Islamic fund raising and syndications.
• Priced, managed documentation and arranged placement of Bond and Sukuk issuances for various corporations in Kuwait.
• Sourced transactions by market research, proposals and curtesy meeting.
• Structured Islamic and conventional corporate lending products.
• Undertook company and industry research pertaining to IPOs and listing advisory.
• Financial engineering and legal structuring of startups and existing companies.
The program scheduled as 12 months of training courses in various areas of business, 3 months in Kuwaiti institutions & 3 months in a European Institution (ABN AMRO - Amsterdam & London).
