Business Development Manager
- Research the market for identifying new business opportunities.
- Achieve the monthly/quarterly/annual B2B sales targets Central region.
- Attend to regular client visits/meetings to gain the comprehensive understanding of their existing business needs.
- Explain to prospective clients about the advantages of the products or services offered and follow up with them in order to close the business deals.
- Respond to the client queries regarding the products in a timely fashion.
- Develop business proposals for new and existing customers.
- Develop creative strategies to retain the clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of business development practices, marketing activities, prospective clients and industry trends.
- Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate a high volume of prospective clients.
- Manage customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
- Determine cross-selling opportunities among different offices.
- Supervise the CRM database and utilize it to manage customer contacts and mailing lists.
- Managing, coaching and motivating the sales team to ensure optimal efficiency/productivity and morale results in good operational performance.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies.
- Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services.
- Alerting the sales team to opportunities for further sales within key clients.
- Letting customers know about other products the company offers.
- Attending meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts.
- Achieving client relationship targets and KPI’s as set by the Head of Sales.
- Working closely with Account Managers and Sales Consultants.
- Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients.
- Carrying out client satisfaction surveys and reviews.
- Monitoring company performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues.
- Updating the CRM and ensuring account managers are aware of changes within clients.
- Passing leads to the sales team and following up on progress.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively.
- Building profitable relationships with customers from their portfolio, to deepen and broaden account relationships with the objective to generate revenue and focus on wealth management.
- Market investment products as well as cross-sell of the consumer product to the new and existing PB customer. This will include mortgages and credit cards.
- Expand new customer base through referrals from customers or through personalized/advisory services provided personally or through the Investment Consultant team.
- Acquisition and growth of Priority Banking customer relationship and portfolio in accordance with PB segment business goal.
- Increases mortgage loan portfolio by developing business contacts.
- Attracting mortgage customers.
- Completing mortgage loan processing and closing.
- Supervising staff.
- Manage the relationship with the client and determine needs.
