 Accountable for knowing and complying with applicable regulations and Company HSE
requirements and policies & Ensures that all personnel are working in a safe and professional
manner and according to laws, rules, regulations, and standards, Coach and mentor Rig
Contract and Third Party staff in improving HSE.
 Supervise on BOP'S and well head test operations.
 Review and discuss SIMOPS document if two operation need to be done.
 Calculations of all cement jobs, mud displacements, tallies of casing and tubing will be done
by the company man and checked against services hand.
 Data reported in the morning reporting system DIMS/open well is accurate, coded correctly
and detailed, this includes all casing details, final casing reports, cement reports, bit records,
etc. Accountable for operational success of all operations on the rig; drilling, testing,
completion, tree running, workover, rig moves….. etc.
 Implementation of program in accordance with plan Zero LTI, minimum NPT on the rig, cost
effective management of rental tools, tools discharged from rig within 2 days of completion of
job & accuracy of values for all signed job tickets.
 Critical equip. work supervision (CTC Packer “External casing Packer” with DVT in liner CMT
job, …..etc).
 Supervise for securing and killing most high risk wells with different methods.
 Pre-planning for each hole section and casing/cement job, preparation of 7 day look ahead
schedules for logistics.
 All third party equipment arriving at rig site has inspection papers and a Pre-job checkout has
been done prior to rigging up equipment (QA/QC of equip.).
 Submit a variance report for any non-conformance of equipment or equipment failure or
downtime resulting from equipment or people.
 Supervise in land and offshore rig moves, Participate in pre move meeting with rig mover,
company assurance, rig OIM, barge master, marine department, production & subsurface
department, truck drivers, crane operators and rig crew, Discuss rig move operations and
move plan & Perform rig acceptance testing.
 Oversees the onsite work performed by contractors associated with drilling and completion
operations to ensure proper implementation of the drilling plan.
 Coordinates the logistics of material, equipment and personnel utilized in field operations to
ensure timely and effective operations.
 Ensures on-site understanding of project expectations and daily work plan by contractors and
service companies through the use of communication tools such as pre-spud meetings, safety
meetings and daily review meetings.
 Adheres to all policies, procedures and guidelines associated with the company loss control
program including onsite activities such as safety meetings, drills, accurate and timely
accident/incident/near miss reporting, participation in accident/incident investigations, spill
reporting, equipment inspections. Assists in the training and development of junior personnel
as required.
 Planning For Drilling Both Vertical And Directional Wells. Planning For Drilling Horizontal Wells
Planning Directional Work Including Kick Off, Correction Runs, Sidetracking Wells Using
Either Whip stock Or Open Hole Cement Plugs.
 Design Casing and Cementing Procedure for one stage and two stage casing and liners.
Following Up Drilling Operations As Per-Planned
 Planning cost estimation for drilling and work over well. Planning and following up for work
over wells. Preparing work breakdown structure sheet.
 Preparing one page summery for each well section. Follow up for technical limits implemented
on rig. Updating after action review.
 Reviewing the lessons learned from the offset wells.
