•I report to the Finance Manager. Key responsibilities are maintaining the accounting data for the Company, Preparation of management accounts, dealing with quarterly closings, reporting on results and preparation of Interim & year end Financials in line with IFRS.
•Responsible for the financial records maintenance and financial planning and analysis in compliance to the rules of the Company policy and Commercial Law. Liaison with the Auditors and carry out the
•annual audits from Auditors. Supervise the accounting data input to ensure the compliance of the monthly closings including preparation of P&L and Balance sheet and cash flow Report.
•Specific duty is to maintain all Accounting records, ensure correct allocation of expenses and finalize the Posting of all business transactions in the system. Maintain Bank Accounts, Bank dealings and bank reconciliation. Follow up of receivables and processing of payments according to the planned cash flow. Carry out aging analysis of debtors and creditors and update the Management.
•Prepare project costing and compare them with budgeted costing and reporting to the management.
•Manage the transaction from manual to a computerized accounting system. Carry out daily accurate Checking, Processing, Journal entries, Reconciliation and closing of Accounts for Payables, Receivables, and Suppliers Accounts. Match up Invoices, Expense reports, Purchase Orders with material received records and Requisition. Accounts Payable; Analyze past due invoices, assist vendors and various department heads with Accounts Payable.
•Analysis of plant and machinery performance, depreciation, repair and maintenance cost and disposal
•sale vs. new purchase, upgrade etc., Performance, finance cost and comparison of Fixed Assets, Valuation, and financial implications of Assets valuation change. Analysis for acquisition and disposal. Analysis of Fixed assets, Idle Assets Handling Inventory Control System.
•Expertise in handling and maintaining complete books of accounts independently including cash, bank, customer- vendor ledgers, receivable and payable, payroll, sales, purchase, inventory.
