Contents taught:
MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits), Antennas, Hyperfrequencies
circuits, Electronics and non linear systems, Computers’ Architecture (Assembly
Language), Operating systems (Linux).
Degrees: 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th year of Engineering school and Master Degree.
Context Multipartners national project named R3MEMS: from the conception to the realization of a first MEMS (MicroElectro Mechanical Systems) based reconfigurable reflectarray antenna for spatial applications. General Description • Conception and optimization of a reconfigurable reflectarray at Ku band (10.7-12.75GHz). • Electromagnetic simulation (HFSS) and circuit simulation (ADS). • Antenna characterization in anechoic chamber. • Analyzing the possibility of reflectarrays’ reconfigurability using MEMS switches. • Study and optimization of the system robustness to MEMS switches failures. • Developing algorithms to analyze and correct the effects of MEMS failures (using MATLAB).
Specialty: Telecommunications and Computer, Grade: Excellent.
