Minimize breakdown time with proper execution of Start-up/Block in/Shutdown activities.
•Ensuring the safety of men and machines.
•Reviewing SOP and update.
•Training and developing the skill set of the subordinates.
•Emergency handling, trouble shooting, and developing solutions to operational problems impacting production.
•Keeping track operational conditions and instructing, guiding subordinates as required.
•Adhering to EHS norms and good housekeeping of plant area, equipment, machines.
Shift Supervisor directs and controls the operations with an Objective to strive for the highest possible production while
•minimizing the potential of occupational accidents.
•Responsible for activities of operating parameters and quality control of products such as high-pressure reactor, high Pressure heat exchanger, high pressure scrubber, vacuum evaporators, Hydrolyzer, Desorber, steam drum, granulator, heavy fans and blowers, vibrating screen, safety screen, buckets elevator, etc.
•Follow-up the daily laboratory reports and takes necessary.
•Follow-up washing in granulation unit during blocking in and making spry tests and air tests.
•Co-ordinates and follow- up on all maintenance activities.
•Follow-up the works of the inspection of the high pressure unit (eddy current test etc.) with STAMICARBON men during the annul turn around.
•Reviews unit operation data and analyses this data to determine potential problems and ensure that unit operation meets with company objectives with regard to safety, quality, reliability and profitability.
