• Manage operations and maintenance of the IP Transport network and its associated elements.
• Guide fault management activities (incl. testing, diagnosing and repairing the network in case of faults) in order to ensure short response times as per the agreed targets and customer satisfaction.
• Study the respective IP Transport network component capacity and provide recommendation with report, manage and guide the respective MNS operations teams - in particular during high seasons and promotions to ensure readiness to absorb extra traffic and avoid disruptions.
• Design routines health tests and report/notify of system alarms.
• Preparing daily and weekly reports on the IP/MPLS network performance.
• Monitor and analyze to ensure degradations on the IP/MPLS network and high utilization of interfaces are escalated to the concerned stakeholder.
• Evaluate trends, KPI analysis and recommend solutions to optimize network performance.
• Ensure resolution of escalated issues during SLA
• Detect, analyze to report and to escalate the network performance KPIs across the KSA regions and international roamer services.
• Monitoring the Key Performance Indicators related to the international traffic.
• Provide technical reporting and recommendation to respective stakeholder/departments.
• Tools used “Assure system for International call quality testing” and “Roamfix for outbound and inbound roamer testing”.
• Making simulate testing (On-demand test) for the new services before launching to the market.
• Analyze and escalate degradation of International IDD and Roaming services which have been detected and escalated to concerned stakeholder.
• Preparing weekly report on international carriers quality & IDD traffic and sent it to stakeholder.
• Preparing weekly report on Outbound and Inbound roamer and sent it to stakeholder.
• Prepare the processes of “Detect Analyze & Escalate IDD Quality and Roaming Service Issue”.
• Tools used “SIGOS for Global Roamer Active Test System” and “Device Quality Agent”.
• Preparing the monthly network report for “Etisalat Group”.
• Analyze and escalate degradation of national voice, SMS and data services, and competitor's benchmarking which have been detected and escalated to concerned stakeholder.
• Preparing weekly report on competitor's benchmarking and sent it to stakeholder.
• Analyze and manage the network performance to ensure the network can handle the needs efficiently.

• Monitoring all MTN network nodes' (Ericsson, Huawei, Alcatel and ZTE).
• Analyze problems and troubleshooting.
• Perform 1st level of maintenance before escalating problem to the 2nd lines.
• Escalate power failure, transmission links’ problems and faulty devices or hardware detected after troubleshooting/diagnosing to the field support engineers (Radio, transmission and others).
• Send regular reports and notifications on daily basis about the current status of the network and updates if a fault is detected.
• Responsible for giving permission for any works in the sites or the switches especially for works which have impact on the coverage.
• Record intrusion details (Phone, company, time in, time out and work type).
• Give the required information for troubleshooting purposes.
• Assure site clearance after the end of the work.
• Download software for new sites and testing the telecommunications equipment’s in these sites.
• Changes management control assurance.
• Implement preventive maintenance ex. the external alarms routine checks of the BSCs & MSCs.
• Sites acceptance.
• Routine visit & preventive maintenance for mobile sites.
• Operation & maintenance of Alcatel, Ericsson and Huawei equipment (BSC, BTS and MW).
• Troubleshooting and repair of the rectifier, generator, A/C, ATS, MDB and battery replacement.
